Advance online class registration for the 2018 Quilt Expo will be available beginning Monday, July 9. Register early and save $2 per lecture, workshop and admission ticket! Registration for remaining class openings will be available on-site during Quilt Expo. Admission ticket allows entrance to quilt exhibits, stage presentations and the vendor mall. Lecture, workshop and evening events require an additional fee. Parking is paid separately at the Alliant Energy Center parking gate.



LECTURES


Quilt Expo offers 126 informative and inspiring one-hour lectures. Enjoy learning as quilting authorities share their favorite techniques, short-cuts and knowledge. Enjoy as many of these mini-classes as you like! Each lecture is $10 in advance or $12 at the door, unless otherwise noted.



SIT & SEW AND HANDS-ON WORKSHOPS


Join us in one or more interactive, three-hour machine workshops. Here’s a great opportunity to spend a few hours learning, practicing and mastering a new technique while creating an exclusive Quilt Expo project. Sewing machines provided by sponsoring sewing machine companies. Most workshops are $35 in advance or $37 at the door (plus kit/pattern fee). Complete workshop details will be available Monday, July 9.

Register for one or more of our hands-on workshops including hand quilting, surface design, beading, and quilt design. No sewing machines needed. Each hands-on workshop is $30 in advance or $32 at the door (plus kit/pattern fee). Complete workshop details will be available Monday, July 9.

An Evening With Ricky Tims
Enjoy a presentation of music and storytelling! See quilts and listen to music as Ricky shares his philosophy to get us making more quilts! And you won't want to miss the stories from this busy instructor, quilt maker, musician and co-host of "The Quilt Show." $20 in advance or $22 at the door. Please note, the evening events typically last 60-90 minutes.

Friday 6 p.m.

The "Slow and Steady" World of Tula Pink
Join Tula as she takes you through the ins and outs of her world of fabric design. Get an inside look at the "Slow and Steady" world. Most recognized for her boldly unique use of color and pattern - Tula has a sense of humor to match. $20 in advance or $22 at the door. Please note, the evening events typically last 60-90 minutes.
